A proposal to more than double waste water fees in Redondo Beach over the next three years has been approved by the City Council despite a mild protest. Kudos to the city for taking the right steps to ensure that South Bay beaches remain safe and healthy for people and marine life. As Councilmember Matt Kilroy said: “We have a tremendous responsibility to keep our water clean.”
